Keep Your Head

About

Who's behind this?

Short version: an independent editorial desk, not a guru. Here's the longer, honest version.

What Keep Your Head is

Keep Your Head is a weekly newsletter and article library about one idea: you can get real value out of AI without handing it your judgment. Practical skills are the front door — better answers, faster work, useful habits. Keeping your own head is the point.

We write for smart, non-technical people. If you've used ChatGPT a bit, feel vaguely behind and vaguely uneasy, and don't want either a lecture or a sales pitch — you're who we write for.

How it's made (the honest part)

There is no invented founder with a stock-photo face and a rags-to-riches AI story. We think that genre is exactly the problem.

Keep Your Head is an editorial project run by a small independent operator. The writing is produced with heavy AI assistance — yes, we use the tools we write about, every day, which is precisely why we know where they shine and where they quietly fail. Every piece is human-directed and human-approved before it goes out: the topics, the claims, the recommendations, and the judgment calls are editorial decisions, not autocomplete.

We sign everything “— the Keep Your Head desk” because that's what this is: a desk, with standards, not a personality cult.

What we will and won't do

How it's funded

The newsletter and articles are free. Later, there will be an optional paid membership with a structured course library ("AI Without Autopilot") for people who want the full curriculum. No ads, no selling your data, no affiliate links dressed up as recommendations. If that changes we'll say so in plain English.

Talk to us

Reply to any issue of the newsletter — a human reads every reply, and replies genuinely shape what we write next. That feedback loop is the closest thing we have to a comment section, and honestly, it's better.

Keep your head

Anyone selling you certainty about AI — utopian or apocalyptic — is selling. Steadiness is rarer, and more useful.
